Premium Organic CBD for The Villages

The Fat Pig Society Partnership
Village Socialite was built to curate the best of the best for our neighbors not just products with pretty labels, but brands with Heritage Standards. We chose the Fat Pig Society because they are the real deal. They grow, process, and package their own organic hemp on-site in Colorado. No middlemen, no mystery ingredients just honest, farmer-direct medicine that we are proud to stand behind.
Farmer-Direct
Integrity
By operating as a volunteer-driven cooperative, they ensure 80% of every dollar stays on the farm. While most brands prioritize stockholders, this model prioritizes the purity of the plant and the health of the soil.
Keeping Family
Farms Alive
A CSU study identified $100,000 in annual revenue as the survival point for small organic farms. This partnership helps Colorado farmers hit that “magic number,” protecting their land from developers for the next generation.
Proof Over
Promises
The name comes from a founding lesson: prove the model through undeniable results. Whether it’s raising a 250lb pig in Micronesia or producing the cleanest CBD on the market, they believe in results you can see and feel.

Our Partnership Philosophy
At Village Socialite, we value transparency above all else. The Fat Pig Society isn’t just a supplier; they are a collective of volunteers, experts, and families who believe that Medicine belongs to the people.
By organizing as a cooperative, they ensure that 80 cents of every dollar goes back to the farmer. This “Farm-to-Table” model eliminates brokers, middle-men, and corporate stockholders, allowing us to bring you the highest quality organic CBD at the most honest price point possible.
The Legend of the “Fat Pig”
The name was born in Micronesia. To prove a new sustainable feeding method to skeptical local farmers, founder Bill Althouse raised one pig his way and one the traditional way. Six months later, the farmer’s pig was 75lbs—Bill’s was over 250lbs. The farmer looked at the results and said, “Wow, that’s a fat pig.” Today, the Coop uses that same “Demonstration Model” to prove that organic, vertical integration creates better medicine and better lives for farmers.
The $100K Strategy
Agricultural economists at CSU identified $100,000 as the “Magic Number” to save a family farm. The Coop’s goal is to ensure every member farmer hits this benchmark, keeping land out of the hands of developers and in the hands of the next generation.
